光のボイドのある家
今回の敷地は、間口5.8ｍ、奥行20.0ｍの敷地面積105㎡の土地です。
場所は西宮市の駅前にあり、昔の商店街の一角の土地となっています。
両サイドには住宅、裏側には高層マンションが建っているので、周囲に眺望や採光を取り入れる場所がなく、閉鎖感のある敷地となっていました。
そのため光の取り入れと、外部ではなく内部空間に豊かさを設けることが必要とされました。
そこで、分棟型の建物を計画することにより、建物の中心部に光あふれるボイド空間を設けました。
1Fから2Fのロフト部分までの約10ｍの吹き抜け空間は、光をふんだんに取り入れ、中庭の植栽を眺めることができる空間となりました。
また、リビングスペースとダイニングキッチンスペースを前後に分け、光のボイドにブリッジを設け、行き来できる配置計画としました。
このことにより、リラックスできる空間と食事を楽しむことのできる空間を、緩やかに分けることができました。
外部に開くことのできない敷地で、建物中心部に光のボイドを設けることにより、
光をふんだんに取り込むと共に生活空間を緩やかに分け、
常に光のボイド空間を感じながら生活を楽しむことのできる、内部に開かれた住宅となりました。
A House with a void to invite light
This site is a 105㎡ plot of land with a frontage of 5.8m and a depth of 20.0m. It is located in front of a station in the city of Nishinomiya, in a corner of an old shopping street.
There are houses on both sides and a high-rise condominium on the back side.
The site was closed off, with no place to take in views or light, thus, our challenge was to bring in the light and the enrichment of the interior space rather than the exterior.
Therefore, we designed a void space in the center of the building to bring in the sunlight by planning a split-level building.
The 10-meter atrium from the first floor to the loft on the second floor is a space that allows light to flow in and allows people to enjoy the greenery view in the courtyard.
In addition, the living space and the dining kitchen space are divided into front and rear sections, and a bridge has been created in the void to allow people to move back and forth.
By doing so, it was possible to gently separate the space for relaxing and the space for enjoying meals.
By creating a void of light in the center of the building, we were able to let in an abundance of light and gently divide the living space, creating a house that is open to the interior where people can enjoy their lives.
